Eurosport draws 40 million daily viewers in Europe for Vancouver Olympics opening weekend

With an average daily reach of 40 million different viewers over the first weekend, Eurosport’s coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games has outperformed Torino 2006 audience figures by +7%.
Online, Eurosport’s websites attracted 2.5 million daily visitors for the same period (13-14 Feb.), breaking overall records on Russian and Polish sites.
